The OC Shamrocks will participate in the Boys OCLA Winter youth lacrosse season, a premier league for youth players across Orange County. The Spring League is a great way for players to stay active in lacrosse while competing against a mix of community-based teams like the Shamrocks. 

Age Groups & Formats

Boys 3rd-4th Grade:

6v6 format, short field
A fast-paced, beginner-friendly introduction to lacrosse that helps players develop fundamental skills and field awareness.

Boys 5th-6th Grade:

8v8 format, smaller field
Using similar rules to full field, including long sticks, offsides, and face-offs. 

Boys 7th-8th Grade:

10v10, full-field play using NFHS rules.
Players will learn specific positions (attack, midfield, defense, goalie) and focus on full-field offensive and defensive strategies.

BOYS Practices:

• Practices will be held Wednesday at Santa Margarita HS 6:30-8:30pm

•  Games are played on Saturdays or Sundays at various locations in Orange County starting in February.

• Practices will start December 8th

• Theseason win conclude on the weekend of March 8/9th.

• All players are required to supply their own lacrosse gear. (helmet, gloves, elbow pads, chest protector, lacrosse stick, mouthguard, athletic cup, and cleats)

Cost

• Team fees $649 2nd-4th Grade / $699 5th-8th Grade

• Uniform Fee $100 (new players only)
